HP has launched a new EliteBook series laptop called the EliteBook 1030 in the US. The notebook sports a diamond-cut all metal design with military-grade certifications, and comes with an additional Corning Gorilla Glass layer on the display. The laptop offers a backlit spill-resistant keyboard, and delivers a battery life of up to 13 hours, claims the brand.


The HP EliteBook 1030 comes in two models - one with a non-touch 13.3-inch full HD display, and another with a QHD touch-enabled screen. The notebook is powered by a 1.1GHz sixth-gen Intel Core M processor, coupled with up to 16GB of RAM. It features 512GB solid state drive storage, a USB Type-C port, two micro-USB 3.0 ports, Wi-Di, Miracast, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, Bang & Olufsen-powered speakers, and a fingerprint sensor.



As per the brand, the HP EliteBook 1030 offers the industry's first self-healing PC BIOS with runtime monitoring. Software-wise, the notebook runs Windows 10. It will go on sale in the US later this month at the starting price of $1,249, which converts to around Rs 80,000.
